We have been editing our film to get it to a rough cut stage, which we then showed to the class last wednesday and we got some positive and improvement feedback. For example we got some positive feedback which said we had good editing and good effects. Also this group that gave us feedback liked our song. Another group said that our footage and editing fits the pace of the song, they also said that it is a start of a good narrative and I'm glad they like the narrative because that is the convention of our music video with also some bits of performance. We also used colour corrector and that group managed to notice we used it and liked it.
Another group in our class also enjoyed our editing and the overlaying shots we have included. They also enjoyed the shots we put in black and white and natural light in our shots outside. We also got some improvements that we can do to our music video such as there is a shot of the two boy actors pushing each other and we can improve this by re filming and having the two acors fighting more/more violent towards each other. Another improvement is that we need to add more strength to our narrative and as we are filming tonight and once we edit it in to our music video the narrative will gain strength. We are also in the process of filming our performance or trying to find someone else to do the performance as the actor we decided to do it doesn't feel comfortable doing it.
